The design concept of the catalog reflects on a conversation had with the former director of the academy Miriam Bestebreurtje at the beginning of the last semester; it is a reflection on the past, present and future of the students each presented as direct questions on the cover of the catalog: Where do they come from, where are they now and what will be their next step after graduation. The answers to these three questions can be found on the pages dedicated to each student's final project. 

In addition to the graduation projects, the catalog includes a section with images of the (still empty) future Master's Institute to document the change of location as a significant moment in the history of AKV|St.Joost.
